How activity points work

Earn points by helping build the catalog, contributing award information, and sharing your ratings. Your activity score appears on your profile, and the homepage leaderboard celebrates this week’s active members.

Suggest an award, winner, or nominee to contribute. Award contributions earn points after an administrator approves them.

Ways to earn activity points
Action	Points	How it counts
People added	+10	Add a new person who remains in the catalog.
Movies and TV series added	+20	Add or import a new movie or TV series that remains in the catalog. Importing an existing entry gives no extra points.
Edits approved	+5	Have an administrator approve an edit to a person, movie, TV series, or credit connection.
Award contributions approved	+10	Have an administrator approve an award, winner, nominee, or correction you submitted. Each approved submission earns 10 points while its award information remains published.
Published ratings	+2	Publish a performance rating. Each current rating counts once; updating it does not award more points.
Daily sign-ins	+5	Sign in or use your signed-in account on a calendar day. This bonus is awarded once per day.

What to know

Calendar days and weeks use Asia/Shanghai time. Each week starts on Monday at 00:00.
The leaderboard is ordered by points this week, then all-time points.
New people, movies, and TV series earn points immediately while awaiting review. Removed entries, hidden or deleted ratings, and pending or rejected edits do not count.
Award contributions earn points only after administrator approval, including previously approved submissions. Pending and rejected award submissions earn no points. Award points count toward the week they are approved and do not count while the related award information is hidden or deleted.
Existing recorded contributions count toward all-time points. Daily sign-in points start when this feature is introduced; earlier sign-ins are not reconstructed.

Days follow Asia/Shanghai time. Each week starts on Monday.
