Yuichi Nakamura is a Japanese voice actor and narrator known for a large body of anime, game and dubbing work. Born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1980, he became active professionally in the early 2000s and developed into one of the most recognizable male voices in contemporary Japanese animation. His roles often use a cool, controlled baritone suited to confident leads, older-brother figures, rivals and characters whose calm exterior hides comic timing or emotional strain.
Nakamura's anime résumé spans school drama, action fantasy, science fiction and long-running franchises. Early widely recognized roles include Tomoya Okazaki in Clannad and Alto Saotome in Macross Frontier. He has played Gray Fullbuster in Fairy Tail, Kyosuke Kosaka in Oreimo, Ikuto Tsukiyomi in Shugo Chara!, Tetsuro Kuroo in Haikyu!!, Hotaro Oreki in Hyouka and Bruno Bucciarati in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. These parts show the range of his casting, from dry and analytical protagonists to flamboyant action characters and emotionally grounded team leaders.
International anime audiences know Nakamura especially for Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen, one of the most prominent modern shonen roles, and for Hawks in My Hero Academia. He has also voiced Tatsuya Shiba in The Irregular at Magic High School, Koji Kashin in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Reinhard van Astrea in Re:Zero, Kei Mikhail Ignatov in Psycho-Pass 3, Tsukasa Shishio in Dr. Stone and Ultraman X in the tokusatsu series Ultraman X. His film and special credits in the database include Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death - The Movie, The Irregular at Magic High School film projects, Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt: Bandit Flower and multiple anime franchise specials.

Beyond anime series, Nakamura has worked in video games, narration and Japanese dubbing. Like many leading Japanese voice actors, his career crosses media boundaries: a role may begin in a television anime, continue into theatrical films, games, drama CDs, stage events and promotional programs. His continued casting across major franchises reflects both audience recognition and industry trust in his ability to carry central characters.
Public English-language biographical information on Nakamura is more limited than for Hollywood actors, but his verified credit record is extensive. The best summary of his career is therefore credit-based: he is a prolific voice actor whose performances connect some of the most watched anime series of the 2000s, 2010s and 2020s, with signature roles in Clannad, Macross Frontier, Fairy Tail, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia and The Irregular at Magic High School.
