Zoe Saldaña

Saldaña gained further global recognition through the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing Gamora beginning with Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014. She reprised the role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Because of her roles in Avatar, Star Trek, and Marvel films, she became closely associated with large-scale science-fiction and fantasy franchises, while also maintaining work in other genres.

Time magazine also named her to its list of the world's most influential people, reflecting the scale of her commercial success and the visibility of her later career. In addition to acting, Saldaña has been credited as a performer on songs connected to the Avatar films, further linking her work to music and performance traditions.
