Mckenna Grace

Mckenna Grace is an American actor and singer whose career began in childhood and expanded quickly across television, film, horror, comedy, drama, voice work, and music. Born in Grapevine, Texas, in 2006, she began acting professionally before adolescence, with early television credits including Disney XD's Crash & Bernstein and the long-running daytime serial The Young and the Restless. Those early parts established her as a busy young performer capable of moving between family comedy, serialized drama, and guest roles on major network and cable programs.

Grace's breakthrough in film came with Gifted, in which she played Mary Adler, a mathematically gifted child at the center of a family and custody drama. The role gave her a prominent showcase opposite Chris Evans and brought award attention, including recognition from the Critics Choice Association. She followed it with a series of carefully noticed performances as younger versions of established characters or real people, including young Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, a young Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, and young Theodora Crain in The Haunting of Hill House. These projects made her a familiar presence in mainstream films and prestige television while she was still a teenager.

Horror and supernatural material became an important part of Grace's screen identity. She led The Bad Seed, appeared in Annabelle Comes Home, and later became a central figure in the Ghostbusters revival films as Phoebe Spengler in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. At the same time, she continued dramatic work, including The Handmaid's Tale, where her guest role as Esther Keyes earned a Primetime Emmy nomination, and A Friend of the Family, in which she portrayed Jan Broberg in a true-crime dramatization. Grace also moved behind the scenes on The Bad Seed Returns, receiving writing and executive-producer credits while reprising the lead role.
