Mikako Komatsu

Mikako Komatsu is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Kuwana, Mie Prefecture. After early entertainment work, she joined the voice-acting industry in the late 2000s and made her first major lead performance in the anime series Heroman. She later became known for combining a busy voice-acting career with music releases connected to anime and J-pop.

Komatsu's early voice roles included Joey Jones in Heroman and Marika Kato in Bodacious Space Pirates. During the 2010s she built a broad anime résumé, with roles in series such as Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, K, Gundam Build Fighters, Nisekoi, Aldnoah.Zero, Ajin: Demi-Human, Tales of Zestiria the X and Classroom of the Elite. Her performances often ranged between youthful lead characters, energetic supporting roles and action-oriented parts.

Her later credits include prominent franchise roles such as Setsuna in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, Maki Zen'in in Jujutsu Kaisen, Maam in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, Rebecca Bluegarden in Edens Zero, Gamo in Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro and Mavuika in Genshin Impact. TMDb credit listings also include recent work such as Hitomi Kisugi in Cat's Eye, Midori Nagumo in CITY THE ANIMATION and Feixiao in Honkai: Star Rail - Taking It Easy.

As a singer, Komatsu made her solo debut in 2012 with the single "Black Holy," used as an ending theme for Bodacious Space Pirates, and later released music through labels including King Records and Toy's Factory. She received the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 16th Seiyu Awards, reflecting peer recognition within the Japanese voice-acting industry. Komatsu married fellow voice actor Tomoaki Maeno in 2020; the couple have two children.
