TMDb lists him as born in Mexico City on September 12, 1988, and credits him as a director, writer, producer, cinematographer and on-screen documentary participant. His feature directing credits include Blindspotting, Summertime and Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon, for which he is also credited with story work. Later credits include directing Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero and producing Dìdi (弟弟), where he is also listed as a B-camera operator.
