Kevin Zegers

Kevin Joseph Zegers (born September 19, 1984) is a Canadian actor and model from Woodstock, Ontario. He began working as a child performer, appearing in commercials and small screen roles before becoming widely recognizable to family audiences as Josh Framm in Air Bud (1997). That early success could easily have boxed him into children’s entertainment, but Zegers gradually built a more varied career, moving between teen thrillers, horror films, independent drama, and television.

In the early 2000s, Zegers became familiar to genre fans through roles in Wrong Turn (2003) and Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead (2004). His most important transition role came with Transamerica (2005), in which he played Toby, a troubled young hustler opposite Felicity Huffman. The film gave him a more adult showcase and helped separate his image from the Air Bud years. Later credits included The Jane Austen Book Club, Frozen, The Entitled, The Colony, and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, where he played Alec Lightwood.

Zegers has also worked steadily on television. He appeared as Damien Dalgaard on Gossip Girl, a recurring role that brought him into one of the most heavily watched teen-drama conversations of its era. More recent screen work includes The Rookie: Feds and The Madison, showing that his career has continued across both film and serialized television rather than depending on one breakout title.

His personal life has also drawn entertainment-press attention. In 2013, Zegers married talent agent Jaime Feld, and in 2015 the couple welcomed twin daughters, Zoë Madison and Blake Everleigh. Those public family milestones became part of the softer celebrity coverage around him, contrasting with many of the darker or more intense roles he has played on screen.
