Rupert Wyatt

Rupert Wyatt is an English filmmaker whose work includes directing, writing, and producing for film and television. He made his feature directing debut with The Escapist, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, then reached a wider audience with Rise of the Planet of the Apes in 2011. Wyatt later directed the crime drama The Gambler and the science-fiction film Captive State, on which he also held producer and screenplay credits. His television work includes directing the opening episodes of The Mosquito Coast and serving as an executive producer on the series. Recent and listed upcoming credits include directing and writing work on Desert Warrior and directing, writing, and executive-producing credits on The Sunrise File.
