Yuki Kaji is a Japanese voice actor and singer best known for leading roles in anime, video games and animated films. Born in Tokyo on 3 September 1985, he became one of the most recognizable male voices in modern Japanese animation through performances that often combine youthful vulnerability with explosive emotional intensity. His public agency and database profiles identify him as a prolific voice performer across television anime, theatrical animation, games, dubbing and music-related projects.
Kaji's career developed through supporting and lead roles in the late 2000s and early 2010s. He gained broad attention as Haruyuki Arita in Accel World and as Shu Ouma in Guilty Crown, roles that placed him at the center of science-fiction and action series built around conflicted young protagonists. He also voiced Issei Hyodo in High School DxD, Alibaba Saluja in Magi, and Kenma Kozume in Haikyu!!, showing a range that extended from comedy and fantasy adventure to sports anime.
His most internationally recognized role is Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan. Beginning with the 2013 television anime and continuing through the franchise's later seasons, compilation films and related projects, Kaji voiced Eren from impulsive adolescent hero through the character's darker adult arc. The role became one of the defining anime performances of the 2010s and early 2020s, and it made Kaji familiar to audiences far beyond Japan. He reprised Eren in spin-off and film projects, including Attack on Titan: Junior High and Attack on Titan: The Last Attack.

Kaji has also been closely associated with The Seven Deadly Sins franchise, voicing Meliodas and, in some projects, Zeldris. That role highlighted his ability to move between comic lightness, battle-anime bravado and heavier dramatic material. Other prominent credits include Phoenix Wright/Ryuuichi Naruhodo in the Ace Attorney anime, Nishikata in Teasing Master Takagi-san, Todoroki Shoto in My Hero Academia, and numerous roles in fantasy, school and action series.
Beyond television anime, Kaji has worked in animated features, original video animation, games and drama CDs. Screen-credit databases list film roles in titles such as GANTZ:O, The Seven Deadly Sins: Prisoners of the Sky, The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light, The Relative Worlds and Teasing Master Takagi-san: The Movie. His game and franchise work has helped sustain his profile across media rather than limiting it to weekly broadcast anime.
Kaji's awards profile reflects his standing among Japanese voice actors. Public references record multiple Seiyu Awards, including recognition for lead actor performance. He has also released music as a singer, a common parallel career for high-profile Japanese voice actors, and has appeared in events and promotional programming connected with his major anime roles.
Kaji's career is notable for both quantity and recognizability. In a field where many performers work across large ensemble casts, he has repeatedly been cast as central characters whose emotional journeys define the work around them. His performances as Eren Yeager, Meliodas, Todoroki, Nishikata and Phoenix Wright place him among the most prominent Japanese voice actors of his generation, especially for international anime audiences who encountered his work through streaming-era series.
