Erin Moriarty

Erin Moriarty is an American actress born on June 24, 1994, in New York City. She began performing as a child and moved into professional screen work as a teenager, including early appearances on One Life to Live and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Moriarty's early film and television work included The Watch, The Kings of Summer, Red Widow, After the Dark and the first season of True Detective. In 2015 she appeared in the Netflix series Jessica Jones as Hope Shlottman. She later appeared in films including Blood Father, Captain Fantastic, The Miracle Season, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, Monster Party and Driven.

She became widely known for playing Annie January, also known as Starlight, in the Amazon Prime Video superhero series The Boys. Her work in Captain Fantastic was part of an ensemble nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
