Sora Amamiya is a Japanese voice actress, singer, and songwriter associated with Music Ray'n and Sony Music Entertainment Japan. Born in Tokyo on August 28, 1993, she entered professional voice acting after passing a Music Ray'n audition and began taking anime roles in the early 2010s. Her career developed at the point where Japanese voice actors were increasingly expected to combine character performance, stage-event work, music recording, and public promotion across anime, games, radio, and live concerts.
Amamiya's first major wave of recognition came through prominent roles in mid-2010s television anime. She played Kaori Fujimiya in One Week Friends, Akame in Akame ga Kill!, Touka Kirishima in Tokyo Ghoul, Asseylum Vers Allusia in Aldnoah.Zero, and Elizabeth Liones in The Seven Deadly Sins. These parts quickly established her as a versatile performer: Kaori required restrained emotional vulnerability, Akame a colder action-hero presence, Touka a sharper urban-fantasy edge, Asseylum a regal science-fiction tone, and Elizabeth an earnest fantasy-adventure warmth. That range made her one of the more visible younger seiyu of her generation.
Her international profile grew further with Aqua in KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!, a comic role built around vanity, panic, slapstick timing, and deliberately unheroic reactions. Aqua became one of the characters most closely associated with Amamiya, and the role continued through later KonoSuba television seasons, films, games, and promotional projects. She also voiced Chizuru Mizuhara in Rent-a-Girlfriend, a role that demanded a different balance of polished public persona, private frustration, romantic comedy rhythm, and emotional guardedness.

Amamiya has remained active across franchises and genres. Her credits include Miko Yotsuya in Mieruko-chan, Nazuna Nanakusa in Call of the Night, Miia in Monster Musume, Isla in Plastic Memories, and characters in Magia Record, The Anthem of the Heart, BLAME!, Spy Classroom, and The Seven Deadly Sins films. Like many major Japanese voice actors, she has also participated in game and music-related projects, with role information often maintained through anime databases, agency profiles, and official production sites rather than long-form biographical interviews.
Her music career is closely connected to the same industry ecosystem. In 2014 she became a member of TrySail alongside Momo Asakura and Shiina Natsukawa, a voice-actress unit under Music Ray'n. As a solo artist she released music through Sony/Music Ray'n, including singles and albums tied to anime-song culture as well as her own concerts. Public materials emphasize her professional output more than private biography, so a careful account of Amamiya is best grounded in confirmed roles, releases, agency affiliation, and recurring franchise work. On that record, she stands as a major contemporary Japanese voice performer whose career bridges dramatic anime leads, broad comedy, idol-unit activity, and solo music performance.
