Nao Toyama

Nao Tōyama is a Japanese voice actress and singer whose work spans television anime, theatrical animation, games, character music, and solo J-pop releases. Born in Tokyo on 11 March 1992, she became interested in anime and performance while young and later attended Waseda University. She entered voice acting at the start of the 2010s and quickly became associated with bright, emotionally direct characters as well as roles that required musical performance.

Tōyama's first major lead role was Kanon Nakagawa in The World God Only Knows, a character whose idol persona also gave her early exposure to character-song work. She soon built a résumé across popular school, fantasy, comedy, and romance series. Among her best-known roles are Chitoge Kirisaki in Nisekoi, Yui Yuigahama in My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Chiho Sasaki in The Devil Is a Part-Timer!, Karen Kujō in Kin-iro Mosaic, Tomoe Koga in Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Ruka Sarashina in Rent-A-Girlfriend, and Rin Shima in Laid-Back Camp.

Her voice acting is often recognized for its range within youthful characters: she can play energetic comedy, soft-spoken warmth, idol confidence, or restrained melancholy. Laid-Back Camp gave her one of her most widely recognized roles as Rin Shima, the quiet solo camper whose calm presence became central to the series' atmosphere. In Liz and the Blue Bird she voiced Nozomi Kasaki, contributing to a more delicate, music-centered dramatic work. Her agency profile also lists many later credits, including Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, SAKAMOTO DAYS, Mechanical Marie, and games such as Granblue Fantasy, Kantai Collection, Blue Archive, Uma Musume Pretty Derby, and Genshin Impact.
