Rachelle Vinberg is an American skateboarder and actress whose screen work grew directly out of New York's female skateboarding scene. She was born on August 27, 1998, on Long Island, New York, and began skating as a child, learning tricks through family, online videos and local sessions. She later became part of a circle of young women skateboarders whose friendship and street-skating culture helped shape director Crystal Moselle's work.
Vinberg first drew screen attention after appearing with other skaters in Moselle's short film That One Day. The project expanded into the 2018 feature Skate Kitchen, in which Vinberg starred as Camille, a fictionalized version of herself navigating friendship, independence and skate culture in New York City. The film blurred documentary observation and narrative drama, using real skaters in roles close to their own lives. Vinberg's performance became central to the film's naturalistic tone and to its portrait of young women claiming space in a male-dominated subculture.
The same creative world later continued in the HBO series Betty, inspired by Skate Kitchen and the real group of skaters around Vinberg. She again played Camille, bringing her skating experience and understated screen presence to the ensemble. Her limited but distinctive filmography is closely tied to projects about youth culture, identity and skateboarding rather than a conventional studio-star path. Public film listings also credit her in the short film La Petite Mort, but Skate Kitchen and Betty remain the works most strongly associated with her public profile.
