Mood Swings

I kept coming back to Paige Gauck's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
