Rafael Tiglao in Paraisong Bacao (Acting)

Rafael Tiglao's contribution as Self gives Paraisong Bacao (2020) a more specific texture. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
