Ron Pogue did not quite work for me

I gave Ron Pogue's work as Visual Effects Coordinator in Rise of the Planet of the Apes (Wed ) a 3.5/10. There are moments that work, but the overall impression is more functional than memorable. The role needed sharper detail to make the performance feel truly convincing. It is the kind of work that might work better for other viewers than it did for me. I would not call it the only reason to watch, but it definitely shaped how I felt about the film.
