Gary Dahlquist is one of the stronger parts

Looking just at Gary Dahlquist's work as Rigging Gaffer, I land on 10/10. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It is not the only reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
