Good instincts from Li Tianyu, mixed result

Li Tianyu gets a 5/10 from me for Old Cannon From North East (2020). I would not call it bad, just not as sharp as it could have been. Some scenes click, some just sit there. I like the idea of the performance more than the full result. It is solid enough, but there are moments where it feels a bit on autopilot. That is the part I kept thinking about after the movie ended.
