A useful but uneven turn from Miriam Tazeghdanti
5.5/10 · Production
I would rate Miriam Tazeghdanti's work as Extras Casting in Ordinary Happines (2019) at 5.5/10. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. The performance has a clear idea behind it, but the execution is not equally strong throughout. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. It supports the film well enough, though it rarely changes the temperature of a scene. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
