Shae Paterson feels too thin here

Shae Paterson's contribution as Director of Photography gives Captcha (2023) a more specific texture. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
