Yōsuke Asari is okay but not always strong

I watched Samurai Detective Onihei: One Last Wish (2025) and Yōsuke Asari was one of the parts I kept noticing. There are good moments, especially when the scene is quiet. I can understand what the actor wants to do, but not every scene is strong. I wanted more detail, but it still has some useful emotion. The performance is okay for the movie, but sometimes it feels a little flat. Maybe other people will like it more, but this is my feeling.
