John Williams feels too thin here

What stood out to me about Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023) was how John Williams handled the role. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
