John Nelson has nice moments but also some problems

John Nelson as Visual Effects Supervisor in Anaconda (1997) made me pay attention more than I expected. There are good moments, especially when the scene is quiet. Some parts are good, but other parts feel normal and not very fresh. I can understand what the actor wants to do, but not every scene is strong. The performance is okay for the movie, but sometimes it feels a little flat. Maybe other people will like it more, but this is my feeling.
