This role does not fully suit Johannah Newmarch

Looking just at Johannah Newmarch's work as Raina Breem, there is a clear point of view in the performance. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
