Takushi Koide gives the film real shape
10/10 · Visual Effects
I kept coming back to Takushi Koide's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
