Monica Evans works in parts

Monica Evans's contribution as Maid Marian - A Vixen (voice) gives Robin Hood (1973) a more specific texture. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. The performance has a clear idea behind it, but the execution is not equally strong throughout. It supports the film well enough, though it rarely changes the temperature of a scene. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
