David V. Butler is solid, with a few rough edges

There is something pretty interesting about how David V. Butler fits into The Invisible Man (2020). A few choices felt pushed, and that pulled me out of the scene. I kept waiting for a more specific angle on the character. It never really locked in for me. It feels like the role needed another layer that never quite showed up. The performance does the job, but not much more than that. That is the part I kept thinking about after the movie ended.
