Tricia Sawyer does not quite click

Tricia Sawyer was the thing I kept watching in Sliver (1993). A few choices felt pushed, and that pulled me out of the scene. The performance does the job, but not much more than that. It never really locked in for me. I kept waiting for a more specific angle on the character. It is less about one scene and more about the overall aftertaste.
