Osian Pearson never quite convinces

What stood out to me about Dead Silent (2022) was how Osian Pearson handled the role. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
