A useful but uneven turn from Assia El Ayouz

I kept coming back to Assia El Ayouz's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
