A useful but uneven turn from Jed M. Dodge
5.5/10 · Sound
Looking just at Jed M. Dodge's work as Supervising Dialogue Editor, there is a clear point of view in the performance. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. The performance has a clear idea behind it, but the execution is not equally strong throughout. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. It supports the film well enough, though it rarely changes the temperature of a scene. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
