Anissa Bonnefont feels too thin here

Anissa Bonnefont's contribution as Director gives Wonder Boy (2019) a more specific texture. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
