Michele K. Short has good moments, though not fully even
6.5/10 · Camera
What stood out to me about Bad Moms (2016) was how Michele K. Short handled the role. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. It supports the film well enough, though it rarely changes the temperature of a scene. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. The performance has a clear idea behind it, but the execution is not equally strong throughout. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
