Lilja Einarsdóttir is one of the stronger parts

What stood out to me about The Vasulka Effect (2020) was how Lilja Einarsdóttir handled the role. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
