A useful but uneven turn from John Dale

Looking just at John Dale's work as Construction Foreman, there is a clear point of view in the performance. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
