Joany Kane has good moments, though not fully even

Looking just at Joany Kane's work as Writer, there is a clear point of view in the performance. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie.
