Robert Streeper never quite convinces

What stood out to me about Highest 2 Lowest (2025) was how Robert Streeper handled the role. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
