Strong, thoughtful work from Nic Smal

Nic Smal's contribution as Editor gives Kiff: The Haunting of Miss McGravy's House (2024) a more specific texture. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
