Linda Lowy never quite convinces

Linda Lowy's contribution as Casting gives Wild Things (1998) a more specific texture. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
