Peter Epstein never quite convinces
1/10 · Crew
What stood out to me about Paranoia (2013) was how Peter Epstein handled the role. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
