A useful but uneven turn from Brian Curley

Brian Curley's contribution as Sound Recordist gives Birthing Justice (2023) a more specific texture. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. It supports the film well enough, though it rarely changes the temperature of a scene. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
