This role does not fully suit Rebecca Holmes

Rebecca Holmes's contribution as Art Direction gives Eastern Promises (2007) a more specific texture. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
