Yannis Dumoutiers has good moments, though not fully even

What stood out to me about The Rise and Fall of the Etruscans (2022) was how Yannis Dumoutiers handled the role. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
