Strong, thoughtful work from Chris Birdsong

Chris Birdsong's contribution as First Company Grip gives Project Almanac (2015) a more specific texture. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
