Lauren Patel feels too thin here

I kept coming back to Lauren Patel's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
