Chris Ferguson gives the film real shape
8.5/10 · Production
What stood out to me about The Monkey (2025) was how Chris Ferguson handled the role. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
