Haruhiko Hasegawa works in parts

What stood out to me about We Are Little Zombies (2019) was how Haruhiko Hasegawa handled the role. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
