Miss Cartier works in parts
7/10 · Acting
What stood out to me about When You Wake Up (2026) was how Miss Cartier handled the role. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
