Bryan McKenzie feels too thin here

Bryan McKenzie's contribution as Reno gives Kutuk (2019) a more specific texture. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
