Amy Wilkins-Bronson has good moments, though not fully even
7.5/10 · Directing
I kept coming back to Amy Wilkins-Bronson's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
